Dining with us

We hope that you are just as happy as we are to re-opening after being closed for more than three months. During the lockdown we have all had to make huge changes to our lives to ensure our own safety but also those around us. Although we are now allowed to open again and the previous onerous changes have been eased, we still to have certain measures in place to make sure that we are a safe place for our customers to visit and our team to work.

We have worked hard to make sure that you feel safe and comfortable when visiting us. Rigorous risk assessments have been carried out. They can be viewed here.

We operate a one-way system through the pub to reduce congestion and therefore ask you to take note of our signage and respect the space of others. Only one person from each group is to queue for the bar at any one time. We are operating differently to how we normally would and ask that you are patient during busier times. We are often working with a smaller team to maintain the safety of our staff. As always though we will do our upmost to make sure that you have a great experience when visiting us.

The government has put certain stipulations around bookings that we encourage you to adhere to. Inside bookings can only be made up of two households including their social bubbles. Outside groups should only be made up of two households including their social bubbles unless it is for six people or under then any number of households can make up the group.

Takeaway

We are pleased that we are able to offer a take away service. We are even happier that all of our packaging for our takeaway’s is compostable. To order a takeaway please call us to place your order. You will be asked to provide us with a mobile phone number of the person who is collecting. They will be called to come in and collect the food once it is ready.

Vegetable Boxes

During the three month lockdown we were really proud to be able to offer delivery of our Veg Boxes every day. From 6th July we still be delivering but only on Mondays and Fridays. A £20 Veg Box consists of 4 pints of milk, a loaf of Pump Street bakery bread, 6 eggs and a selection of fruit and vegetables.
