Our Policies

Dining with us

We hope that you are just as happy as we are to re-opening after being closed for more than three months. During the lockdown we have all had to make huge changes to our lives to ensure our own safety but also those around us. Although we are now allowed to open again and the previous onerous changes have been eased, we still to have certain measures in place to make sure that we are a safe place for our customers to visit and our team to work.

We have worked hard to make sure that you feel safe and comfortable when visiting us. Rigorous risk assessments have been carried out. They can be viewed here.

We operate a one-way system through the pub to reduce congestion and therefore ask you to take note of our signage and respect the space of others. Only one person from each group is to queue for the bar at any one time. We are operating differently to how we normally would and ask that you are patient during busier times. We are often working with a smaller team to maintain the safety of our staff. As always though we will do our upmost to make sure that you have a great experience when visiting us.

From 14th September the new “Rule of Six” applies to all bookings. We can no longer take booking for groups or tables greater than 6 people.

From 24th September all customer are required to wear a face covering whilst inside the pub. The only time that the covering may be removed is when you are sat at your table. All customers must be seated at all times. No service is offered at the bar. Full table service will be offered from our team. Hand sanitiser is available for everybody to use. The Pub will be closed by 10pm at the latest. Please find our QR code and scan using the NHS Covid app on your phone.

We are pleased that we are able to offer a take away service. We are even happier that all of our packaging for our takeaway’s is compostable. To order a takeaway please call us to place your order. You will be asked to provide us with a mobile phone number of the person who is collecting. They will be called to come in and collect the food once it is ready.
