BACK IN BUSINESS
We are delighted that we are finally able to open up again and see some familiar faces. Things will be operating a little differently for the time being but we are still able to bring you great food and drink from a great team. We are now taking bookings and you can do that right here on our website. Sunday lunch will see us still offer our fantastic roast sirloin of beef. We are very limited on tables inside now. If you would like to book a table outside then please call us.
We are delighted to be able to offer a takeaway menu also. It’s the same great food that you can get in our restaurant but now you can take it home with you. We have worked hard to make sure that all of our packaging is compostable or recyclable. To order your takeaway simply call your order through to us. We will ask for a mobile number and give you an estimated time. We will call you when the food is ready to pick up. please do not come in to the pub until you have received a call from us.
David and Chris have known each other for 20 years, many of those years working together at The Dolphin in Thorpeness. It is there where they worked tirelessly together, with David’s daughter Kerry, to bring The Dolphin back to where it belongs into the heart of the village. After many successful years at The Dolphin and running the Village Store it felt like the right time to start another venture. They couldn’t knock down a chance to run this beautiful 16th century smugglers pub when it became available and as luck would have it; less than 2 miles away from The Dolphin. With its long and rich history in Aldringham, David and Chris recognise that The Parrot is an important and vital part of everyday life in Aldringham.
