The nights are drawing in..
With the misty mornings and jewelled cobwebs now upon us as we turn to autumn The Parrot is the perfect place to take that slight chill off you may be feeling. The Outside Inn remains a great place for lunch and dinner with some tables offering an over head heater. Alternatively the restaurant is cosy and warm too. With an eclectic selection of gins and wine coupled with a delicious meal from our chefs you can’t go wrong.
Don’t forget to subscribe on The Parrot Puzzler YouTube channel for Chris’ weekly pub quiz!
Sunday lunch remains very popular so please get your table booked well in advance.
David and Chris have known each other for 20 years, many of those years working together at The Dolphin in Thorpeness. It is there where they worked tirelessly together, with David’s daughter Kerry, to bring The Dolphin back to where it belongs into the heart of the village. After many successful years at The Dolphin and running the Village Store it felt like the right time to start another venture. They couldn’t knock down a chance to run this beautiful 16th century smugglers pub when it became available and as luck would have it; less than 2 miles away from The Dolphin. With its long and rich history in Aldringham, David and Chris recognise that The Parrot is an important and vital part of everyday life in Aldringham.
