Aldringham is situated just off the coast between Minsmere, the RSPB bird reserve and the popular towns of Aldeburgh and Snape with its famous Food and Drink festival, Literary and Music festivals, inspired by Benjamin Britten at the Snape Maltings international concert hall.

The Parrot is an ideal resting base to explore neighbouring Thorpeness and Aldeburgh, or just enjoy a peaceful walk around Snape Maltings and RSPB Minsmere reserve – plus many more local must sees. A short stroll takes you to miles of unspoilt Suffolk Heritage coast.

The perfect venue on the coast of Suffolk
Built in 1912, the Country Club is set in a stunning location overlooking the sea and the beautiful coast of Suffolk.

This purpose built events venue accommodates 130 guests for a sit down meal and up to 200 for an informal reception.
Formerly known as St Mary's Abbey, it was founded in 1182 at Minsmere by Ranulf de Glanville, Lord Chief Justice to Henry II. The only remains of the old site are the ruins of the Abbey chapel.
